Foam mattresses are finest on firm foundations! Your DixieFoam mattress will perform best when used on a solid or very firm base. DixieFoam mattresses are therefore ideally suited for use on platform type bed foundations. Your DixieFoam mattress can also be placed directly on a bed frame provided it has closely spaced slats. And, of course, it can be placed on one of our Box Foundations or our Platfoamtm bed bases (with or without a headboard), as described below.
